Lauren Blade, PA-C
I am a Physician Assistant specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a clinical focus on breast reconstruction and postoperative care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Georgia and went on to complete my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Rush University, where I discovered my passion for plastic surgery and completed specialized surgical training. In my current role, I assist Dr. Doren in the operating room and manage patients postoperatively in our outpatient clinic, providing continuity of care and support throughout their entire surgical recovery. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene or spending time at the lakefront.

Alison McCall, PA-C
Alison McCall, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has practiced exclusively in plastic surgery since graduating from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2018.
Alison specializes in breast reconstruction, including microsurgical (DIEP flap) and implant-based reconstruction, as well as breast reduction, body contouring, gender-affirming surgery, and aesthetic medicine. Prior to joining Northwestern Medicine in 2025, she practiced in San Diego, California, where she cared for patients in both private practice and an integrated health system. While in San Diego, she also owned and operated a concierge medical aesthetics practice, providing neuromodulator injections, dermal fillers, microneedling, and other minimally invasive cosmetic treatments.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Alison worked as a radiation therapist caring for patients with breast cancer. That experience continues to shape her approach to caring for patients undergoing reconstruction, and she is committed to helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their surgical journey.
Oliwia Ogorzalek
I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University and have developed a strong clinical background supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.
In my current role, I assist with tissue expander fills, coordinate surgical scheduling, provide preoperative education, and support patients through postoperative recovery. I also manage ongoing patient communication, ensuring questions are answered and care remains consistent and seamless.
What I value most about my work is the continuity of care—building relationships with patients and guiding them through each step of their experience. Outside of nursing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three boys, especially being outdoors together.
